sealer for carburetor

hey all. first time post here. been looking around for an answer to my question but so far no luck so hoping someone can lead me in the right direction. 77 pickup, 20r with the water choke. did a rebuild, running great. problem is coolant leak through the gasket where carb mounts to the manifold. my plan was to use some rtv but service manual said not to, it will melt. well sure enough paper gasket alone doesn't do the job. any suggestions would be great. thanks

Red face

Been a long time but it seems something is missing

Something is warped not allowing the gasket to seal

both surfaces were cleaned so they are nice and smooth

Something in your coolant is eating right through the gasket material
