84 head lights

84 head lights

So I m sure some one knows the answer to this....84 SR5 No low beams, high beam indicator on, high beams work.
Switch on column, solenoid ?

sounds like you are on the right track.
Do you have power to the low beams? Can't remember if there is a separate fuse for low and high beams.

Both Low beam elements burnt out

I have had that a few times

Remember the head lights are switched ground power is always there at the plug

Check to see if the low beam pin goes to ground like it should with the switch in low

cant find my 12 v tester %$#@! why would the high beam indicator be on ? thinking there might be a ground fault in harness/switch
