How would we know what you should do with the rear end of your truck, that's for you to research and decide yourself isn't it?There are lot of questions to ask yourself that we just wouldn't have the answers for, like "What do you need it for?" or "Is it a DD?". I'm sure you'll get some suggestions, but this topic is heavily covered on a daily basis so try searching for 10 seconds and I'll guarantee you'll have an hour's worth of reading to do on diff lockers. BTW, you can't retrofit an elocker into your non-elocker axle - all you can do is an entire axle swap.

damn i thought that this was the newbie section...

you can get a clutch type locker, they are tough but a little harder to live with. look for detroit lockers and that type of thing.

you can get a selectable locker, like the one toyota has (which you should be able to put in as long as you have the right gear ratio in an 8" axle, which almost all toyota trucks have) and is more livable. It would take a little axle housing modification though.

you could get an air locker, like an ARB. selectable locker are more expensive.

If he can type the words on his post, he can type those same words into a search engine, right? The Noob section still asks that you at least TRY to find an answer before you ask us to spoon feed it to you.
