ID Tranny Via Part No. or Model Code?

Hi there,

I am trying to pick up a used transmission, and I may have found one, but not sure it will work. All the seller can tell me over the phone is a part number. I'm trying to figure out what model tranny it is to see if it's compatible with my truck, which right now has a failing A43D in it.

The part # = 3500035760. I called a Toyota dealer, and they looked it up in their system, but all they could tell me is they see a "model code" of RN90 4HC for that part number.

Is it possible to find out what kind of transmission this is by just knowing the part number or model code? I'm not sure if it's another A43D, or an A340E/F/H etc.

I've looked all over but can't seem to connect the transmission model types (some of them are listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Toyota_transmissions and here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_A_transmission) to either the part number or model code for it.

Is this even possible to do?
