The part number is 00550-35976 I used that number to buy the switch at the dealer.

I used Corey's write-up for the part # and to wire mine----->

I am electrically challenged, but the write-up is very self explanatory and I had no problems hooking things up. I did not want to wire mine into the high beams either.

I seached many threads concerning aftermaket fogs etc... but decided to revive this particular one because of the above info. My post has 2 parts and hopefully there can be a few ideas. I am looking at buying a set of round fogs.. not pencils but possibly 500's and really want to mount inside the stock valance somehow on either side of the license plate. Anyone do this?

Second part is trying to figure out how to wire them up so they are legal in VA...ie: go off when you flip the high beams on. I am totally inexperienced when it comes to wiring etc. Thanks in advance

If you get the Hella fogs, just follow their instructions on wiring, they tell you how to set up for high beam off operation. Only trick is that on Toyotas, the high beam wire goes to ground when the high beams are on, so you need to adjust the wiring to account for that, the directions assume high beam wire goes to 12 volts.

what I do is hook the trigger wire for the relay to the wire that is only hot when the low beam's are on at the connector at the back of the lamp. that way low beam on = fogs on, high beam on = fogs off, also if you want to turn them completely off wire the relay with a switch in the ground wire to interrupt the circuit
