hey guys i have a 87 toyota pickup with a 22r in it. this is the way i bought it but it has a cruise control button that has never worked? any chance this started as a 22re? is there a way of finding out for sure?

 

Where is the cruise button? You should have one to turn it on in the dash (button) and one to control it (in the Column Switch) If one is not present, the truck did not have it.

As far as I know, there was no option for factory cruise with the carbbed engine.

 

also, you can call the dealership or just shoot me the VIN and I can find out if your truck was carbbed or injected when it was built.
