First, yes, I searched the forum and found that P1600 means ECM BATT Malfunction (Toyota).

I have a 1996 4Runner, automatic.

I was trying to find information on what this error code means. I found a couple of articles that talked about possibly bad fuse or battery connection but im not sure. The light has been on for about a month. It goes off after the car has sat for about a week and doesn't come on until the car has been driven, turned off, and started again.

I have no loss of power, but my clock is out, don't know if that's related. College student living on campus, tools are quite limited.
