Brakes upgrade for 96 4runner

I heard there is a tundra brake upgrade, would this work for a 96? this is my brothers car. not mine. it would be much appreciated, his brakes sound like crap!
I know those brakes usually have problems.

Use the pretty little search button to find a ton on the Tundra swap.

The brake problem most common to the 3rd gen is wimpy brake warping...pedal pulse is a clue...not sound, that's a different story. Warping can also be caused/ aggravated by rear brakes in need of adjustment.
I did the Tundra swap on my 96 using the larger calipers (search). Some wheels will clear without adapters and some won't (search). Mine needed wheel adapters, WabFab for the win.
