Anyone running aluminum wheels?
Possibly thinking about picking up some 96+ toyota aluminum wheels and putting them on my 91' pickup. Does anyone have an pictures of what they'll look like before I really consider getting them?

im tossing the idea around, but im thinking about these....
i have em on my 94 and i kind of want to rock em on my 85 when i get 33x9.50's
but im a little hesitant off road since i wont have the strength of the steel rim.

Aluminum wheels are just as strong if not stronger than steel wheels. Unless you are doing to Baja race, you will be just fine.

got 1.5's already from upgrading the brakes... true, about the same "strength," i guess i was referring to aluminum wheels breaking vs. steel bending

Aluminum all the way...

Aluminum tends to bust up and steel just bends. You can at least limp home on a bent rim but they are heavier for sure.
