I know its a dumb question but where is that located? It idled fine before the swap but it does have an exhaust leak and it is probably getting more air, is it common to have to do this.?

does it not crank over some times or does it start every time because when i did the afm swap when mine went out it wouldn't even crank and then throw a code so you might want to check if the afm is still working correctly

then yeah, that picture shows the location of the idle adjustment screw
i just remembered: the symptoms your are having are caused by an air leak between the afm and throttle body. it might be small, so check to make sure there are no leaks. also check the codes. if the ecu can't see the afm, then there is a problem with how it is hooked up. and make sure you have the right afm. the number should end with 43110
