Accessory Belts

Hi all,

I am changing accessory belts on my 93 4runner (V6). I am wondering where the tension release is for the power steering belt??? From other posts I gather the alternator belt can be released by loosening the alternator bolts and wiggling the belt free.
Help is much appreciated!

(also any warning/suggestions from your experience is greatly appreciated)

Loosen the PS pump and wiggle the belt free.

Only the AC pump has a seperate idler bearing/tensioner.

The upper bolt is the pivot bolt IIRC, and a major PITA to get to. You will need only a 14mm wrench for both bolts. The slide bolt (that slides on the bracket) points backwards on the pass side of the pump. Sorta hard to type it out on the net and have it make sense. If you look down there, you will be able to better see what I mean.
