ford's no good dude. . .
and i think you meant to type "you're"
robd obviously was busting on you for repping ford in a yota forum just like anyone else would do out of playful humor
don't go insulting the guy
vandert has a legit question
i'm curious to know if the 3.4 would be enough as well. . .

ok, if ford is no good then why is the "F" series the number 1 selling truck in the world? And if they're so bad then why are they Motor Trends truck of the year for 8 or 9 years straight?

Looking for a fight? His point: you're on a Toyota forum. You talk Ford, expect to get some grief. Not from everybody, no, but it only takes one to set you off apparently. Try talking Toyota on a Jeep forum. Or Chevy on a Ford forum. Etc.

the 3.4 with 5.29s and 35s is PLENTY of power! i almost wish i had 4.88s or 38s.. I can go into 5th gear by 35mph and it still has power to pass people. I love being able to drive my truck from here to portland (about 2.5 hour drive) and set cruse control. at 70mph its turning about 2900 RPM.
