maint reqd

My 06 double cab was flashing maint reqd because I never reset it after my oil change. Now it is on solid. Is this because it thinks I didn't change the oil? Or do I need to run a scan to see if something is wrong? Thanks.

It is in the owners manual. It is an odometer based reminder that is scheduled to do that. You need to reset it each time you change your oil. Procedure is also in the owners manual.
