center console bulb replacement?
anyone done a bulb replacement in the center console "03 4Runner??
It's the "TEMP" paddle switch in center control, left side. the dealer wants $151.00 to replace it, ouch!

I know you can pop the panel off for the a/c control but have no clue how to replace the bulb inside there. You can pop the panel and take a look from behind to see if it's even possible.
1. open bottom compartment (that small pocket under the a/c controls).
2. Pop off compartment (gentle nudge should do it)
3. look at the latch for the opening and you will find a phillips screw inserted.
4. Unscrew (1 bolt)
5. Gently pull the bottom of the a/c panel.
6. disconnect cable (should be 1 if not 2 but I'm sure it was 1 only)
7. look at the backside to see if you can even remove the switching mechanism to get it the bulb replaced.
if all else fails hit the junk yard first cuz it'll be cheaper. if not check out these fine vendors:
