Bad Odor when Accelerating

Sup all. I have a 2007 4.7 liter V8 4 Runner and when I accelerate there is an incredible foul smell. It only has 16000 miles on it. I live in Europe at the moment and have no choice to use the gas over here. I'm not even sure if the gas being so bad is a problem. If anyone else has had this problem please tell me what you did to fix it. Me and my 4 runner will be back in the States in Jul. Is this something that I just need to take to a dealer there or is there something I can do here? Thanks for the help.

Let me add that I have no choice to use the gas I use. Is there an additive or something?

Another interesting fact about fuel is that Euro 98 octane is = to US 91.7 octane. Should I use lower Euro Octane?

The only time I ever experienced a foul smell when accelerating is when I launched the vehicle off a burm off road, got air, then landed right front wheel first. I believe the odor was eminating from my passenger though

Besides that, check to see if somethig got stuck in the air vents somehow and died. Unless your driving backwards, you shouldn't be smelling exhaust gases when accelerating.

I noticed this for the first time tonight. I never noticed it before. I too had my rear window down, which I rarely do. The exhaust must get trapped at the rear of the vehicle.

The rotten eggs smell has been occurring from day 1 when the 4th gens came out in 2003. Some had the cat changed only to have same occur. It usually only occurs when you stomp on it. It's not the gas, it's the cat.
