once again, the 3.0 does not have a timing chain. it is a belt. 22r has a chain. not the 3vze.

You seriously didn't detect sarcasm in his post?

"let alone find the parts..."

Lighten up man, I think the 3.0 sucks too. You're defending it like it is an ex girlfriend or something. Who cares?

Just watched the episode off the DVR. Did anyone else see that they just wrapped the winch cable around the tree with no tree strap?

There's a great scene for the greenies...

Read the thread over at Pirate to address the whole tree-saver issue...

http://pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=597152

Ian promised a teeshirt to the one that gets the number of complaint emails correct. Thing is, no one had a tree saver and the owner of the park was there and said it was ok.

I ended up buying the episode on iTunes.
that explains why he hacks up perfectly good trucks all the time.

I watched that show and it cost me bout a grand! I thought to myself I can do that! I now have a Dana 44 under my truck, love it too, turns way sharper and will be able to hold up to a v8 swap next

I found the episodes on amazon on demand for $1.99 if anybody wants to see them. You only have to buy 1-3 on amazon and 4 and 5 are free on the spike tv site
