Xtra cab rear speakers
I've been ˟˟˟˟˟-footing around for a while now about putting speakers in the back of my 93 pickup so I finally just dove right in and figured I'd help people out with the same project. First thing I did was get 2 6.5" kickers from walmart. The mounting was one of my main problems so I went to the junkyard and luckily they had exactly what I needed. The guy had cut 2 pieces of plywood to the size of the opening under the back windows and he covered them with a thin layer of foam and then some upholstery to match the interior. Then I just drilled a few holes and they screwed right in. Took out my seats and some of the paneling to make it easier to move around, then I ran some 16 gauge wire from the speakers to the head. Just a piece of advice: go ahead and vacuum or whatever you have to do to clean everything while its in pieces, you will appreciate it once everything is back together.
