Well... I've read your post at least five times and I believe it's possibly one of the most confusing English sentences ever written.

makes sense to me...

That pivot bolt should be for the front of Straight axle trucks.

coulda sworn I just said......

What parts catalouge are you looking in? The front pivot bolt on an 86 Truck (assuming thats what you are talking about) is just a regular bolt. The bushing is pressed into the spring, and the sleeve is part of that bushing. The front bolt for rear springs is just a normal bolt.

The bolt you have pictured above is the FRONT pivot bolt for the FRONT springs on STRAIGHT AXLE rigs only. You wont find that part anywhere on your 86 Turbo 4Runner.

apparently there is a 1 ton hanger pin and a 1/2 ton hanger pin. the one ton is pictured and should still work. the 1/2 ton pin just looks like a bolt.

Not so sure the 1 ton will work - I think its thicker thant he 1/2 ton one

The 1/2 ton (i.e. your 4Runner) is 18mm
See Marlin Crawler's site for pics

Thats approximately 0.70" btw...

That is the part used for the front spring hanger pin on the front spring of '85 and earlier trucks and on the rear spring on '83 or earlier trucks. On the rear springs of '84 and later trucks, a plain bolt (14mm) is used for the hanger.

So your 4runner was produced for the Austrailian market? Your Runner doesn't have them cause it is not needed and your stock hardware is all you need.

To the right is the stock rear spring hanger on my '85 which uses a plain bolt:

And the stock front spring hanger (before it was hacked off) which uses the bolt-in pin as pictured above:

why oh WHY do you need a part number for that bolt you posted a pic of? YOU DONT HAVE IT and DO NOT NEED IT!

You know that guy you sat next to in chemistry class, and kept asking the same question over and over, no matter how many times the teacher tried to explain it to him? Stop being THAT GUY lol

As for the correct bolt, its a 14mm, and about 3-4" long IIRC

the part number from an 85-88 is a spring pin kit part num 04482-35030 but its only listed for a 1 ton. Unless your front leaf spring bolt has the 2 retaining holes in the cap, this part will only help you as a paper weight.
