Well, they do exist which is the sad part.

I've had my one run in with that unhappy disgruntled cop at 2am. You sit through a half hour or more (for me it was 30 minutes) of harassment, yelling cussing screaming threatening... "ok sir you have a good night, drive safe" .. BS ...

i only mention it because my buddy got pulled over Sat night, about midnight. He has a 88 Runner, he had to take some friends home unexpectedly from a party (he dont drink) and got pulled over by city po's. Harassed him and unfortuanetly cited him for no mud flaps... apparently the "reason" for pulling him over. They also cited him on having a expire insurance card which he just has to get his insurance to send him one dated before he got pulled over.

Ironically... we laughed about this.. it was like 2 months prior i got pulled over by State patrol at the same time on the same day .. Saturday at midnight but i was on the freeway not in town.

For not having mudflaps, and I had expired insurance card! but I didnt get cited, thank god. I was out of the country for a few months this summer and didnt put the new card in my truck when i got back so.. i got lucky on that. =)

anyway, cops are trained turd holes I know a few, one patrols my area, not that he'd cite me for no mud flaps lol but still, he says theres a lot he works with that have zero tolerance.




tho, never heard of one checking your parking brake. unless you happen to roll back into his car =p
