Hey I'm new to the forum and was wondering which shocks are best for a 94 4x4 3.0 Ext. Cab? I was looking at Bilsteins what do you think?

Its all street through the week and fireroads on the weekends. What Bilstein would be best for that?

Bilstein are one of the top shocks, very good stuff but not cheap.

Cheaper alternatives:

KYB, monroe senstrak, rancho, procomp, etc. If its mostly street I would buy monroes, good shocks for a good price.

wow, that site is amazing. i will have to buy from there. that and some springs should get me under 250 i hope. thats great! also, strap22 on here sells some packages for 4runners that give it some lift, and add some good shocks.

im gonna do my brakes, shocks, and springs all at once, so im getting things little by little.

Rancho RS5000's are what im running, they are very stiff but they help handling a lot on the road and they are awesome in the dirt. IMHO stay away from the monroes, every vehicle ive ever put those shocks on has been barely any better then it was with the old blown out ones...

btw i was getting my smog check and it said monroe recomends changing shocks every 30,000 miles? wth?

eshocks wow! great prices and in MI too... thanks for the heads up... maybe get my bilsteins if I can grab them at that price... looks like a good price for a full polythane bushing kit too...
