I did not drive a full tank. I drive to the beach on the weekends the first time I drove with it in my car. I drove 128 miles I used 6.45gallons. I filled my tank up to the top where the gas could be seen where the nozzle goes in. this is 19.84 mpg I drove it again thinking it was just gas pump was off. This time I same tripe but this time I had stop and go traffic for twenty minutes of this. I went to the same gas station and used the same pump and the same nozzle. and filled it up just the same. I drove 128 and used 5.98 gallons. of gas. that adds up to 21.40mpg. I know it sounds crazy but I'm not ting you.

No, the "data" is lying to us both - one tank to one tank is hardly a "significant" sampling.

Were you going into the wind one way and with the other way? Uphill one way, downhill the other? Drafting? Different speed? Heavy load vs light? There's MANY things that shed "reasonable doubt" on your results.

All I ask go look up what the cruiser see what they got out of the box stock. I have 95 with 245 thousand miles never bean rebuilt. and I run 34 inch tires. It was going the same direction with know wind the only difference I had I did not have my 45 pound dog and had a 9 beers that I hadn't drank the night be for. so all in all fifty pound.

Hey - if you're happy with the results, more power to ya.

Just understand that you're not making a data-based decision, and you haven't truly proven anything other than you can get better mileage on one tank than the previous one, which we already know.

what kind of data do you need I'm not clear on it. I normally get 16.5mpg to 17.2mpg. let me know what kind of data you need.

10 tanks, random driving both before and after (or turned on and off I guess would be OK). Keep a consistent tire pressure and no other mods to the truck (like FI cleaner, air filter, etc)
