U Joints size question

Done numerous searches but havent found anything that answers my question. 95 Yota P.U. 22re 4x4 ... Ive replaced the u joints for the drive shaft. Trying to replace u joints on little driveshaft that goes to front differential. Im being told that the ones for the shorter drive shaft going to front diff. are a different size. This was from guy at N.A.P.A. They look the same size to me. Does anyone know if these u joints r the same size as the ones for the drive shaft ? thanx....G

Which joints on the front propeller shaft are you trying to replace?
The joint where the shaft meets the front differential (u-joint)?
The joint where the shaft meets the transfer case (cardan joint)?

Can't really say for sure if the u-joints are different between the front (at the differential) and rear (at the transmission or differential). However, it seems the local parts store here lists the same u-joint at the front differential (not the cardan/CV) and rear drive line (transmission and differential end) on my '88.

I will comment though that Napa may be simply trying to figure out if you have the '95 "pickup" or "Tacoma": they may be different u-joints, and probably are since the Tacoma had a different driveline than the "pickup".
