torsion bar kift
I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on cranking your torsion bars up to lift the front end? I have seen people do it before and I know you will need a front end alignment afterward. I would like to add a inch or two lift to the front end to level my truck out.

A basic front end set-up is to run a 1.5" in ball joint spacer
with aftermarket torsion bars such as OME or Sway-Away and run
them with very little pre load. This will allow you more wheel travel
as mentioned and with the higher spring rate you can remove
the front sway bar completely. You'll end up about 2" higher in front.
Cranked torsions are horrible and the front end gets skittish on the road,
dangerous stuff.
These are the BJ spacers I will be ordering :

if you want it to be a pavement princess, crank away, if you want your suspension to actually function, get balljoint spacers, shave your bumpstops slightly, relax the t-bars, and get longer shocks from the front of a samurai.
