Throw out bearing issue
I just finished rebuilding my w56 transmission and when i tried to remove the throw out bearing from its housing that has the two little tabs that hold it in the fork I broke one of the tabs off. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get a replacement because I cant find one anywhere. Just to further describe the part, it is a cast iron piece that fits into the release bearing and it has two tabs on it' Any help would be greatly appreciated

It is a one piece unit and any parts store should be able to get you a throw out bearing without any hassle. I have a Centerforce dual friction pressure plate, disk, and throw out bearing all did come in a kit but you can order them separate. Low range off road has aisin clutch parts.

It's just the clip. That part is "31230 BEARING ASSY, CLUTCH RELEASE"
Parts diagram link for my 94. You can goto the root website and check for your model year, it should be the same part name but might have a different number.
