Switch to manual hubs and this is an odd ball suggestion: Check the vertical bolts that hold the diff in pace. ifg you're under thetruck they're going straight up to the diff throught the crosssmenber/diff cradle. I found one of mine was completely gone, but eh teh rubber crush bushing/isolator was still there. I switched out my CV (sucked but hey at least I know how to do it now eh) but when I was under my truck putting the BJ spacers on/removing the skid, I found the bolt missing, basicly the right side of my diff was able to flop around and probably mad ehte freakin CV angles so bad it was reallyclanking around. Give it a look I know it sounds wirerd, but that was what fixed the exact noise it sounds like you're describing.
