Exclamation terrible noise in 4wheel drive

i have a 1993 4runner five speed 4wheel drive its my daily driver and drives great in 2wd. one day when i pulled my boat out of the water in 4low i noticed a clicking noise. it was coming from the right side and i figured that my cv axle had gone out. so a the next week when i was pulling my boat out again it was a clunking sound and when i went to turn it became i very violent clunking banging shake my whole truck sound. so i went out and bought a new cv and my friend and i replaced it with no better results. it is only in 4wheel drive and i have automatic locking hubbs, but ive noticed that when im driving its a small clunk that is very unnoticeable but once i let off the gas or i turn it becomes very violent. so im thinking its my front differentials or my u-jount or something. im stuck and have no idea what to do. so im asking for help for anyone that has had a similiar problem or know whats wrong.

Switch to manual hubs and this is an odd ball suggestion: Check the vertical bolts that hold the diff in pace. ifg you're under thetruck they're going straight up to the diff throught the crosssmenber/diff cradle. I found one of mine was completely gone, but eh teh rubber crush bushing/isolator was still there. I switched out my CV (sucked but hey at least I know how to do it now eh) but when I was under my truck putting the BJ spacers on/removing the skid, I found the bolt missing, basicly the right side of my diff was able to flop around and probably mad ehte freakin CV angles so bad it was reallyclanking around. Give it a look I know it sounds wirerd, but that was what fixed the exact noise it sounds like you're describing.
