T-100 CV's in a lifted Runner?

I heard somewhere (probaly on here) that a pair of T-100 CV's will fit on some lifted 4Runners and Pick-ups? Did anyone hear about this? I'm asking because I'm replacing mine and the T-100's CV's are much beefier and take the angle alot easier than the regular CV's. Any suggestions or help?

The T-100 CV's are longer, and won't fit on a 4Runner that doesn't have lengthened A-arms on a long-travel suspension (Total Chaos or JD Fabrications)... even then they need some modification to work with the spindle...

I haven't really heard that the T-100 CV's are beefier either, from what I have seen and heard they are about the same, just longer. Now the modified Porsche 930 CV's that Downey puts out are a direct fit for non LT 4Runners and Trucks, THOSE are beefy. And expensive.

Just go for the regular parts store ones, you can't beat the price, or the fact that they probably have a lifetime warrantee on them.

I think the the Porsche CV's from Downey are new around $400 for the pair of inner joints and adapters. They aren't actually whole CV's, they are just the inner joints you have to put on your existing CV's.
