Storm damage?
The storms that hit the southeast last Wednesday, April 27 were very powerful and destructive, resulting in massive property damage and loss of life.
Several super cells passed over Knoxville, TN and lots of folks around here sustained serious hail damage, fortunately no tornados though. My family had to hunker down in an "interior location away from windows" twice as strong winds, lightning and hail pounded our area.
My first worries were about my family's safety, but once I had some assurance that we were not dealing with a tornado, my next concern was about my 93 4Runner sitting in the driveway... I do not have a garage. I was freaking out as golf ball sized hail stones were falling out of the sky. (They were baseball sized stones in other parts of Knoxville.)
In the light of day, I expected to find lots of dents and dings, broken or cracked glass, etc., but to my delight it faired really well. I have two small dents in the roof, but none in the hood. My 4Runner came out ok.
I do not mean to trivialize the real damage and loss others experienced from these storms, but I also know that lots of folks here on the forum really love their yotas. I hope everyone else out there came out safe and sound and that your trucks held up ok too.
Post pics if you got em, here's mine with a big sigh of relief!

We had hail that busted out my skylight in the house, and my runner was out in the drive way taking the same beating and not even a dent.
One of the guys I work with had a brand-new heep grand cheropee, and it's totaled now.
