Rubbing noise (only when cold outside)
I have a 94 4Runner SR5 with auto hubs. Lately in CO it has been fairly cold, single digits. The noise i am hearing sounds like a tire rubbing noise. It is rotational. Does not go away with braking.
It does go away after driving for quite some time, maybe it is warmed up.
I suspect that is a wheel bearing. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanks in advance.

i've experienced something that i think is the same problem you are asking about. I believe the solution is covered in this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ctures-100327/
i havent done it yet, but then again, it hasn't been super cold lately

The first winter in Denver for my 4Runner with auto-hubs was the last.
My auto hubs tried to engage at about 40MPH and up on the coldest days in Denver. Took them off and went manual hubs the first warm day.
