Rough Idle/missing No Code

Rough Idle/missing No Code
I just bought a 1988 4Runner 3.0. It has had a miss/rough idle since I bought it. When I start it, it will run at about 1,500 then after about 20 minutes it will idle at about 1,200 with a slight miss. I have changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter ran some BG44 through it. Runs a little better but still has the miss and high idle. I do not have a check engine light on but I did the test and it came back with O2 sensor and something to do with the AC? Would these be old codes since the light was not on or new? I am thinking I will change the O2 maybe TPS? I have used the search feature and that is how I came up with what I have thus far. What should I do next?

Hold the bus! Don't throw parts at your TOYOTA! Remember that! Rule #1!! Don't waste your money! You worked to hard for it! Now let's get down to business! High idle: Could be, Cold start injector/time switch?
Unlikely though, when she's cold does she go this high in idle? (2000?) That is excessive! 1500? Nah! 750, when warmed up if I remember right!
Turn your idle down, wait till she's warmed up, you can't miss the big screw, turn the idle down! Actually, I'm sorry, you should clear the codes 1st, disccnnt. a batt. cable for a spell and take her out for a run, no codes: "That's great!" Repeatability? You have an issue!
I'll help you, start w/things that don't cost you a dime! Disconnect the batt. cable for awhile and see if the codes come back, also turn the idle down!
I think that's it, and it didn't cost you anything! Let me know! If not I'm going to cost you $65.00 an hr.! Only kidding! Let me know!
Take Care!

yeah i'd def say turn the idle down. its the big flathead screw on the right hand side of the intake manifold. you can't missit it it's right on top. prob bout a half inch wide screw. try turning it while its on and see what you can do about lowing your rpms. i wouldn't got below 800 rpms...mine seems to get a little rough @ about 800 and anything above that is fine.
