Replacement door/ign keys
My 4R has a very worn ignition key. It still works, but it really needs to be replaced. I pulled lock cylinders in the hopes of finding the magic code for getting a new key made, but none of the numbers were key codes.
As a last result, I measured the pin heights directly from the key. The question now is how to convert it into a usable key code. Does anyone know how to convert the key measurements into a code that can be used to make a new key?
