mine was patched with sumthing (not shur what exactly) when i bought it, but a year later the patch came off and i was left stranded. So dont leave the jb weld it there too long.

As already said, the JB weld will work, but it won't last. The top of the radiator on my 84 Camry started leaking and I patched it with JB weld. It would hold for a while and then it would start foaming from under the patch. I finally just bought another radiator.
It will do ya in the short term though.

The Permatex #84109 with the black and white mixture will work fine, I have it patch on a civic rediator for more than 2 years, it still hold tight and haven't have a problem. That cost me only $5.00 I believe... If you need some just PM me.
