Maybe yall can help me too. I just got a check engine light on. I pulled the code and double and triple checked it. I got code #47. I could not find that code on 4Crawler's site or anywhere else. Anyone know what it means?

you probably got codes 4 and 7.
4 is water temperature sensor- short or open
7 is throttle position sensor- short or open

just to add to toyota4x4907's post, the water temp sensor affected by the code 4 should be the one on the front of the intake manifold, with the connector facing forward towards the radiator, closest to the engine block. There is another sensor next to it which is the cold start injector time switch.

you can get information about testing the TPS here: http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTricks/TPS/index.shtml

I replaced and adjusted the tps and the code 7 went away. I found a frayed wire on the coolant sensor right on top of the thermostat housing. I need to clear the codes again to see if the code 4 goes away.
I am still having a starting problem thought. It fires right up and idles @ about 900-1000rmp for about 1 sec then goes to about 400 rpm and gets slower till it dies. It will do the 5-6 time before it idles normally and warms up @ about 900 rpm. It only does it when the engine is cold. What should I check now?
Also should I keep posting here or should I start my own thread?

That sounds like a fuel problem. I'd say check the fuel pump as well as the injector O rings. It might do better to start your own thread though since this one is pretty old.
