Pulled out two stuck trucks today!!
#21
I went to a local motorcycle race today and came across a man that was in a big diesel van and had tried to cross a ditch but his hitch caught him on the asphalt. No hooks on the front but the hitch in the back worked fine. I just locked her down in low and let her go. It wasnt anything for this little beast.
The second stuck was when we were on a dirt road and a woman pulled her huge club wagon van into a ditch across from me. soon her left tires were mired with gooey mud. I hooked up the chain and pulled her out from a hitch in the back. Again there were no tow hooks on this van so no go for front extraction. I let the clutch out in low and as soon as i felt the chain tighten i gave her hell. All fours churning thanks to the Detroit truetracs. Lets just say i got a little too carried away and didn't even stop until some kids yelled at me to. Apparently i had still been dragging her with her brakes locked. WoW this wasn't a mini van either. I aabout this tale i just had to share with you guys. I'm so proud of the little yota. Feel free to share your tales or ask me questions . Thanks Clint

a couple weeks ago i was driving out of ka'ena point and some guys flagged me down. they brought me to their dead 94 4runner 22re. apparently they went splashing. we tried to find the problem first by checking the air filter, coil, etc and still found nothing. so we towed it down the road and we decided i would tow him on pavement so he could bump-start it easier. he got it started but i couldnt hear it start over the sound of my exhaust and he didnt flash the lights or anything, so i slowed down after about 1/8th of a mile and noticed his engine revving like hell behind me. i felt bad for dragging him so long but they were all excited that it even started so all was good.
a week before that i fried the clutch/tranny in my 4runner trying tp yank out a stuck jeep from the mud pits. it looked as if i seafoamed my transmission, smoke was pouring out for a few minutes. i still havent had a chance to check that out yet but it got me home safe

i need a camera to carry with me, because of winter in northern IL my little 22re 4runner has quite a list of auto's she's pulled out of snow and mud this year lets see two Chevy 1500 one was a 4x4 a s10 pickup ford Taurus ford excursion a dodge something or other pickup and some ford van. funny thing how imports don't seam to get stuck as much. O and any way the only thing that gave me trouble was the Taurus that thing was so deep in mud what a pain in the butt.
i'm looking for the picks of last year when i got a jeep stuck and a yoto pulled me out

i got high centered in mud in my 85 both diffs draggin' and our 2wd f150 had to pull me out, then i had to yank my dads tj around when he tried to do a 40pt turn on a icy shelf road. THE BEST ONE was when we were driving to the beer store and a cute lil' tracker or something with mud terrains(2wd) couldnt make it up this hill that i had just climbed he was a delivery driver trying to make it to pizza hut, so in my kind little heart i offered to help him, his look was priceless as i chugged up the hill no problem and just bumped him up the hill like it was nothing, but i fubared his tailgate real bad, so he just kicked it out and called it good long and silly i know.

5 o'clock get a call from my buddies. get out there at 6- 6:30. My buddy has a jeep on 38 hawgs, buried. anohter jeep on 35 claws, fried winch. and my other buddy in a tacoma on 35 BFG Mudders. All got stuck trying to pull eachother out. My Yota came out there and pulled all three out in 4-low with little to no trouble. So proud of my toyota. I think everbody needs to own one.
