Project Update: almost there!

Motor and tranny are done (block gone 20 over, Engnbldr Street RV with a 268 stick). Just waiting on new injectors as two of the four were beyond repair. Once it gets dialed, off to get the exhaust replaced and then it's paint time! Heading to the desert in mid-Oct and REALLY want to take my new Toy...

Oh, need to get my new AC hoses and expansion valve in, too, but not a priority 'til next summer.

I think you were the one I was talking to earlier
I just finished that same setup aswell, got about 1,000 on her so far. Runs like a champ.
I'm getting the LC Camgear soon, took some off the head to raise compression and shes a little retarded now. I'm going to do the camgear as soon as I get my exhaust done (LC header + manifold back 2.25'') so we can tune it right.
She pulls wayyy better as it is already though, haha

I can't wait! It ran like total crap before, so I know it's going to be a night and day difference, but with the "upgrades" I'm wishfully hoping to get something that resembles V6 power with four cylinder mileage and reliability. If not, I'll drive with my eyes closed and tell myself it is....

I went from 20 mpg to 18 with that setup.
It probably has something to do with that I'm Johnny-on-the-gas because of the extra ponies though...
