Pro Comp 33311: Which u-bolts to use?
So in the near future I plan on ordering a 4" bracket lift for my 4Runner and it uses blocks for the rear. I was planning on ordering the procomp 33311 rear 4 inch springs to match the front lift and I was wondering if I could use the u-bolts that came w/ the front kit. I may be wrong, but won't factory springs + block be thicker (or taller?) than just a lifted spring? I'm at a loss because I was going to order at the end of this week, but I didn't even think about u-bolt lengths. Thanks in advance!
P.S. I don't want your advice if it is knocking the bracket lift/going BJ Spacers/SAS... I like the look of the 4-inch lift on the 4Runners and it's only a DD for now so I don't care if I can't go rock crawling. The most this thing will see is logging trails so I'm not too concerned.

There's nothing wrong with a bracket lift. As long as its the Procomp Stage II which is the best on the market.
If the ubolts are too long just cut them down after you install them.

I was planning on getting the lift through Rough Country since it is the same price anywhere and I was planning on getting the springs through 4Wheel Parts since it's free shipping.

With a bit of research I found these... Rated for 3-4 inches of lift when the springs are 4-5 according to some sources. Should I just take the chance? Also, does this look like for both sides or just one? Looks like both to me.

I suggest you call 4wp. You don't need u-bolts rated for "lift", just ones long enough to accomodate the 4 degree shims the 33311's come with, which is like 3/8" longer than stock. If the bolts are too long, you won't have enough thread to tighten them down.

Not sure about the factory bolts. My used kit came with blocks so I ran it that way until spring wrap killed the springs then ordered the 33311's. I don't remember what I did for the u-bolts, but they are longer than stock.

I originally googled which ubolts to use and the pro comp ones came up in some thread somewhere? I decided to go on 4wheelparts to find u-bolts using my 4runner's specs and it came up with these... Supposedly for an 88 toyota pickup (I'm pretty sure 4runner's are identical in this gen) with a 4 inch procomp lift. I guess it'll have to be one of those "buy it and hope it works" thing :/

88 4Runner and 88 pickup should be the same.
The pickup had some changes between 88 and 89, so it's possible and 88 truck has 89 parts.
As long as they tighten up fine, you can cut off the ends.
