Power steering conversion?

I have a 1986 Pickup with 22R engine, I would like to add power steering. Anyone have the knowhow to give some detailed step by step directions? PICTURES would be great lol. I have dont minor engine work to this truck.. I.E. Starter, alternator, fule pump, front main seal, front o-ring, belts, ect but no major engine work, I am kind of a "NOOB" here so if I end up being able to do this literately anyone could lol.. help a brotha out

best bet is find a complete wrecked donor truck, you need the steering box, steering column with steering shaft, all lines, hoses, resevoir, pump, pump bracket, pump belt idler off the front of the engine, pulley for the crankshaft. I have done about 10 of these swaps, its pretty straightforward if you have all the parts, better yet, find the parts truck and pull all the parts yourself so you know where they all go.

well I wish there was another option, with no emissions testing here in Idaho running across a 22R complete parts car is no less than $1000.. guess I got to keep my eye out for one that has the AC and PS, that could make it worth my thousand lol

Why would you need the column and the steering shaft?
