Yeah, you'll need to verify power's getting to the ECU from the relay. Does the CEL illuminate when you turn the key to ignition?

No.....need to check for power. It's getting there. But, the CEL should flash even a "no trouble" code when you have the terminals jumped. Get the ECU.

No need to do that, though, right? I mean you said already that the CEL didn't flash with the test terminals jumped, right?

An auto ECU will work. But, you have to short the P/N safety switch circuit and do some other things to keep the CEL off. I'll have to reply more on that later. Gotta run...

Well, if the ECU is the problem, then certainly. And, of course, it's possible there's more than one thing going on. But, if the ECU's bad, you could replace everything with the entire engine and it still won't run right. The ECU controls everything electronically in regards to fuel management. Well, most everything.

You know I wanted so bad to answer that question with something sarcastic, but today's your lucky day. It's just been to hot to be a smartass.....
