That's an awesome ext. cab you got there ^

Earlier pic of mine holding up two 33" spares. There's a license plate on there now of course, just not in this pic.

I know what you mean. I got tired of looking locally and bought this one off of ebay. Then had it shipped from Pa. to Al. I will never buy another one from up north though.

My grandfather always insisted the spare goes on the front of a truck. Kind of suedo grill guard and push bar, also gives the road-raged white-tail something to think about. Bed of truck was for tools, welder, and 50 lb vise on tailgate.

I might make a swing away front carrier, so I can still maintain engine. I realize will not be practical with 35's, I don't need a matching spare...it's a spare.

Here's mine. Made out of steel plate and old suspension arms.

I have since removed the front arms, and made a storage box that fits in front of the spare in the bed. Then just mounted the hi-lift on the top of the box. I used hitch pins to make it easy to unhook the carrier to swing it back to get into the box.

yeah, get one going

i'm interested in the rear bumper, can you share any details?

also, those are 33s right? i'm not sure this is the wheel angle or the pic or what but it looks like the rear is a bit raised (maybe zuk coils?) and the front is stock height, is that right? it's a good stance, i'm curious on the details. thanks

Yeah I know the herculiner needs to actually be applied lol.

33x1250, gets strapped down when off road. Spare head light and bag o random hardware are usually left at home.

The rear bumper was made by Curleys Racecars. C.B.I. made the swing away tire carrier. I just combined the two together.

The front and the back are just about even. The rear has a Wheelers 3 leaf pack . The T-Bars are adjusted about 1.5" in the front. Tires are 33x10.5's

got more pics of the swingout in action or how you've adapted a spindle onto it? i've also got a Curley bumper and need a way to carry a full spare. i was curious to see if a spindle could be added on it for a swingout and here you've done it. i also like that you've got the spare mounted on the driver's side and not in your way when you look over your right shoulder.
