noise after balljoint spacer

noise after balljoint spacer
i have 1.5 inch balljoint spacers and 1.5 inch wheel spacers on the truck, everything els is stock. been driving for a week and just noticed a noise coming from the front end. my guess was somthing binding, but the hubs were UNlocked the entire time.( haven wheeled at all since the install) I tride jacking up the front end and could spin both tires with hubs unlocked. I found out that at full drop the driver side is binding with hub locked, but not at ride hight. (passenger side never binds). I hear the sound as i am driving (window down raidio off) at any speed, rpm,in or out of gear, turning, not turning... and i think i hear it about once per a revalution of the tire. it sonds like a rubbing then a light, dull click (hard to describe sound in writing).
What the heck is this?
thanx for ANY help

I had a problem with the driver side binding at full droop. After an alignment it helped I still had to shim my bumpstop 1/4 in. I think that is because my bumpstops are really squishy. I don't know if you had an alignment yet, but I would suggest having them do it the old fashion way, not on a machine. Try measureing your cv axles while they are at drive hight. When I was having problems my driver side was measuring shorter than the pass. side. After alignment they were the same.

thanx for the input
i read most of the thread you posted on your problem. i did get an alignment done as soon as i got the spacers on and i didn't notice the sound till today. the thing i don't get is i can spin the wheel fine when it's in the air at ride hieght locked or not, but when im driving at whatever speed there's this noise. i thaught it might be the vehical wheight so i put it in nutral and rolled the truck around but couldn't hear anything. i tride spinning the back tires in the air, nothing. stuck my head under the hood and gave it some gas. nothing( or at least not this sound).

I'm getting a similar noise as well when rolling from the front. It is most likely your wheel bearings. They are probably dry and worn, definately need to be changed before they give out...

thanx for the input. i was thinking it was the bearings, but it seams like they should make same noise jacked up as on the ground. and i tried the push and pull on the tire trick people say to use to check the bearings but it's firm and quiet. iguess i should give in and open up the hub.

I have heard that before but don't completely uderstand. do i pull from the axle at the outer cv joint/inside of the hub. or do i take off the dial/hub body and pull from the end of the axle. if it is from the end of the axle what do i pull on.
