no Low beam in one headlight

okay i have an 88 4runner and the right headlight wont turn on low beams but high beams work. i tested the wires at the three prong outlet that plugs into the headlight and it has power to the two of the wires same as the other left side. any ideas? is it just the bulb?

Replace the bulb and it should be fine. I work auto parts, have for three years, its very very common the low beam goes out.

You've got daytime running lights (DTRLs), you've burned out your headlight that's all. The highbeam is a different filament and will still work if its just the bulb.

I just got new sealed-bulb units at Bond's for $14 each and those were the brighter ones. Much brighter, very easy install, and cheap!!

Mine were not burnt but so bad I left High beams on always and NEVER got flashed and it was still misserably dim. Make the swap.
