Need a game plan
After much researching... I have some ideas for my stock Runner, but still have some questions...
TIRES
1) 33x10.50x15's on 15x8 steelies, 4" Back space Or...
2) 285/75/16 (33x11) on 16x8 steelies, 5" Back space or 255/85/16 (33x10) Prefer just a lil' wider tire though.
*33x10 is a way more expensive tire than a 285/75-255/85 and there's less tire options...at this point though, best deal I can find will decide diameter.
LIFT
1) NO LIFT w/15" except for maybe some BJ spacers. If I get 15", I will relax t-bars for added flex.
2) If I get 16", I'll have to see what adjustments are needed and maybe a 1" body lift. As of now, my truck sits nice and straight. I don't have the sag.
ARMOR
Found some sliders for cheap. Gona get them hopefully next week.
GEARS
Got a great deal on some 4.88's for the rear. Now I need to look for fronts.
LOCKERS
Need help on which locker. Thinking of Aussie's unless they are too hard to get. I've been reading about the ordering problems. If not, then lockrites. I want to keep it simple & inexpensive.
QUESTIONS:
1) Am I missing anything on my tire choice? Will I be able to stuff the 33x11's into the wheel wells?
2) I need to look for a 7.5" for front diff right?
3) What is "third member"? and also, am I going to need to find that for the gear change?
4) How will my 5SPD/22RE drive w/4.88's on stock 15x7's w/235/75/15's? (29")
5) Since I will most likely do 1 locker, where should it go? Front or rear?
Hate to ask all these questions, but I have done ton's of research & still can't quite find my answers. Thanks guys!!

TIRES
I was going back and forth between those two sizes as well, but in the end decided im going with the 33x10.5x15 purely because of price of 16" tires to 15" tires.
LOCKERS
im going with aussie locker for my rear.
3) What is "third member"? and also, am I going to need to find that for the gear change? third member is the whole gear housing, that bolts into the axle housing.
4) How will my 5SPD/22RE drive w/4.88's on stock 15x7's w/235/75/15's? (29")
its going to be very torquey. just avoid highways, rpms might be to high to even be at highway speeds.
5) Since I will most likely do 1 locker, where should it go? Front or rear?
what kind of truck is it for?
if your wheeling tight trails, rocks a front locker would probably more beneficial since our ifs front ends most always pop a tire up in the air first.

ARB front and rear. i still say buy a trail rig. write your company name all over it, and lease it to your office. then you can write off everything. i think.
