I think the hoses to the power steering run right over the starter area. Is your your starter leaking?

maybe you your starter is low on fluid.

: OK you know I'm kidding. My whole passengers side has power steering all over the place. I need to rebuild mine but want to rebuild one then just swap it out.

Clutch fluid hose is leaking, You can follow the line from ether side of the master or slave, There is a rubberhose inbetween that weathers really bad, Mine has been wetting the firewall for yrs now.
Check the clutch fluid ressavour.
