i wish i had the cash to buy that setup, or the whole engine n harness, ive got a 351W with a ZF 2wd5spd sittin in the garage, but im gonna have to build a xmember for the tranny then get a divorced xfer case, and build a xmember fer that, then ide have to upgrade to tons for breakin all my toy stuff, sooo i think ima sell all of it and rebuild the 22r...maybe go RE or pane..wish i could make it superchaged at least so its not too much of a turtle

kinda bummed not to see this finished out, just read the thread. looked like a pretty good setup!

might have to do another 22r build myself, since i got two good M62's around that need a home.

its either that or ill SC a mazda k8de v6.

v8 swaps are kewl, but i like keepin my toyotas, toyotas.

well aware that toyota makes several v8s. was aiming my comment more towards domestic v8s.

a 1uz, 2uz or 5.7 iforce would be sick, but i think one would have to a bit more fab for a 5.7, and im aware of the 1uz and 2uz's ability to be swapped in (i plan on a SC'ed 2uz in the near future, or a 5.7 if i can find one).

Then what you said makes less sense now than it did yesterday.

I know, .

unsure how it makes less sense, when i was aiming the comment at domestic v8s. let me clarify:

"Domestic v8 swaps, including sbc, sbf, bbc, bbf, BOP, flathead, etc etc. are kewl, but i prefer to keep my toyotas, toyotas, and therefore using a toyota v8 would be a better swap option, in my opinion."

..does that safisfy the masses?

sigh* is right.

instead of trying to make someone else look like an ass or start a fight, post relevant info..

anyway, i wish i had the extra scratch to pick this setup up, cuz i have to get MS for my setup, and id like to hook it up to this to tune first. like i said b4 tho, might just have to do one myself..
