Here is the mostly finished product. I might use my dremel and do some detail work....






(Also looking for a set of locking hubs...)

I third the blast and powdercoat idea. I'm really not digging the rims that much, but I bet they'd look good in satin black.

There's a guy who runs PINS down here with a set of Hellcats painted a really dark gun metal color and they look sick!

I'm with you guys...I was thinking of sand blasting and going with gun metal. I had to get the stock wheels off b/c the Michelin were so bad I could not stand it any more....Harbor Freight has a few blasters for not too much...I'll keep an eye out for when they go on sale.

Or with a bit more polish and elbow grease...

I think yours would look good sand blasted too then powdercoated black.
My current wheels are the first black wheels I have ever had, and I dig the look.
