My 87 is stalling
My 22re is stalling intermittently. It will idle great but when I rev to over 3K rpm and then let it out it will stall. I can hear the ecu "tink" when it goes over 3K and then again when it is trying to keep it from stalling. I have been through PCV, Plugs, DCAP/Rotor and all of the tune up regimin. Something seems to be telling that ECU to shut things down. Should I ever hear that thing "tink"?? because I hear it a lot.
It frustrating me. Any ideas of what to be looking for?

You shouldn't be hearing the ECU clunk during normal driving. There was someone else on here having a similiar problem but I can't find the thread. I agree that something is confusing the ECU.
Edit: I found a couple threads:

Thanks for the links. I found tonight that the little metal tube running out of my EGR was clogged...fixed that and it seemed happier in many ways, but still stalled at times. There is something reading a signal to get the ecu to shut things down.
