Manual Hub Rebuild(grease)
Hey guys,
I'm rebuilding my manual hubs and I'm just wonder what's the best grease to use in there. Also any links to any good forums for rebuilding them. I have searched threw everything on yotatech so if anyone has any other that aren't on here, it would be appreciated!

try 4crawler.com or 4x4wire.com for a good write up on the process. i don't think it makes a big deal which grease you use, as long as its spec. i used mobile1, 1 pint per side.

I use a hight temp synthetic in summer and a cold temp stuff made for snombiles in winter. Makes very easy to operate in the cold weather. Also forced you to take them apart and regrease 2 times a year.

Nope, as you have to find spare parts off other hubs.
I do have some spare parts on my Aisin manual hub page on the website.

Cool Brian! Hmm... maybe I'll just send you what I have (2 sets of hubs - 3 of which seem broken-ish) and we can work something out where I get one set back and pay for whatever...
I put my warn hubs on currently - which seems counter to what I would want BUT... since I really would rather my hub break than my ring and pinion right now (I have 5.71's in there) and have upgraded to longfields...so my weakest point really needs to be my hub rather than my R&P. So I want to have my aisins as spares I think. What do you think?

Watch the WARN nuts as they like to get loose since they dont use the OEM cone washers. One reason I do not like the WARN hubs.
On the Aisins, email me and we can work some thing out as I got lots of parts and pieces in boxes.
I just went to all drive flanges to get rid of the hub headache.
