Hi yall first post here but ive been on here plenty of times and searched alot but havent really found a post that can help me out this time so figured id have to ask myself. Well anyways about 2 months ago i was loosing coolant had it in my oil figured changed my timing chain which had wore a hole in the cover had it back together and running good. Then about 3 weeks later truck started running rough and loosing coolant again and overheating figured it was head gasket because of some smoke out tailpipe and figured i messed up the gasket while replacing the timingg cover anyways now after replacing the head gasket with a factory toyota gasket and having the head machined i still have water shooting out my first two exhaust ports. could it be a cracked blocked? truck is a 94 4x4 with 22re

could be your block or the head. if the shop you had machine checked it over then that would rule it out. not sure if this would help or not but you never know- you can rent a pressure tester for the radiator at autozone basically for free. get that puppy pressured and see if you can hear the water going somewhere. maybe take out your spark plugs to see and/or listen. like i said it's a long shot.

I agree on pressure testing the cooling system. See where your leaking and go from there.

I mean i know im loosing the water out the exhaust because right now i have the exhaust manifold off and can see the water shooting out the first two exhaust ports so i figure the gaskets not sealing right, the block might be warped or there is a crack in the block somwhere in one of those cylinders but everything ive read is its rare for these blocks to crack...idk maybe i put too much rtv near the timing cover when i put the gasket on?

ok so i found out i have water in the lower intake in the same two ports anybody have an idea why id have my coolant sucked through the first two intake ports and shot out the front two exhaust ports

I'm not framiliar with those engines. Is your throttle body heated?

not exactly sure what that means but from doing a quick search it sounds like it is heated

Check around your thermostat housing on the intake. The first two intake ports ( cyl 1 and 2 ) are right next to the thermostat housing. The intake gasket could be pinched or the surfaces of the intake or head could be warped.

thanks for the reply the head actually was warped but i had it machined so i figure it should be fine and i did try taking off the intake today and the gasket looked fine still but i went ahead and put some rtv around it too like i had read on another thread, havent gotten it back together yet hope it fixes the problem but im not too optimistic just because the intake gasket looked fine when i took it off

thanks for the info everybody the problem did end up being the intake gasket not sealing well enough hard to believe because it looked fine and not pinched anywhere when i took off the intake but anyways to anyone in the future doing a headgasket or just intake period i would def put some rtv along with the gasket just to be safe
