just wondering if anyone here has any ideas for a lift for a 1994 toyota p/u? i want to put 35s but i dont think the 22re can handle it well. ive searched and olnly found 4' susp. lifts, but if need i will do a body lift. money is not a realy problem so any ideas would help thanks

first off WOW money is no object !!!!!!!!!!!

as everyone will tell you. 33" tires are much easier to fit.

There are several options depending on what you wish to do with your truck.

The 22RE can handle the the 35's but you will need to regear your truck with 5.29's

let's start with cheapest way

body lift is the cheapest way to go...some people like them some don't
you can do a small suspension lift and small BL combo....

then the 4 inch suspension lifts..kinda price...

I just did the 3 inch body lift on my truck this last weekend...
still need to get my tires but the truck is lifted.
I also have a little from shackels in the rear.

after I got the body done I think I have decided against installing the BJ spacers I have.

Is it a manual? If so, 5.29 gears would be a great match for 35" tires. If you do not regear, the 22re will have big issues turning that big of a tire. If you do regear, and money is not a problem, I would highly suggest installing lockers as well, or a lsd system like the Truetrac. I really like my setup, with a 4" susp lift, and a 3" body lift. 7" of lift is great for 35" tires.

if money is no object its time to start looking for some DANA axles. get that SAS underway. put a build up thread on here too.

I agree with Tc; I hate my bodylift and I hate my IFS lift. When I do it all again the SAS is it!
