The stock one or the 5m one? I haven't started tear down yet still wait on my big pile of parts

If I can I will set up a vido for some of the build up, I kinda wanna do it all at once or at least get a part done one at a time so I don't have a ton of project parts all over the place

With all of those problems, im quite sure you will see a noticable gain in power. Ive never seen or heard of an intake cracking before, where is your intake cracked ?. Are you going with a performance head and cam on the new engine ?. I wish it was possible to see what kind of performance is gained with just an upper intake swap, AFM swap, and a header.

Once you get everything done, post up some new dyno numbers, im very interested to see what you get.

That is not totally correct. The 82 supra AFM is plug and play, and so are mid 80`s cressida AFM`s, thats what i have on my 86 4Runner and it was plug and play. Another member here has also found an AFM from a mazda that is also plug and play. So there are several AFM`s to choose from that can be swapped into out trucks and no swapping of parts is needed.

i have talked with them many times, but i dont like calling and wasting their time on the phone. definitley email if ya need to ask em some stuff. he is very good about emailing. is it an offroader '261' or daily driver '268'? i would think you would wanna go with a 268... doesn't sound like it will be a rock crawler...

Alright everybody that has been following this thread the engine finally died...... death rattle to a clicking noise to valves meet pistons and now it sits in my brothers garage. So after doing a ton of reading/searching and a lot of thought. I am doing the late model upper intake swap, long block from DAVE'S OFFROAD PERFORMANCE, supra afm, and LCE street manifold with a 30inch glass pack followed by a summit turbo muffler. I'm waiting on the 60mm tb and any boring of anything.
