It'd be cool if it did huh?

I'll quote one of the more memorable teachers I had in school as a teenager. He'd always pretend that he didn't know the answer to anything when first asked. He'd say,
I don't know...let's find out!
Then lead us on an investigation to discover the truth of the matter. Quite an adventurous character.

Good luck on your journey with this one. I can't help ya one bit though on it. Well, on second thought, I'm bumpin' your thread here I guess so...Your welcome.

EDIT: I wonder what the first 71 people to look at this thread thought about the idea? Personally, I find it's hard not to wonder if you can fit a cool stock Toyota digital dash/gauge cluster into one of our rigs. That'd be tight.

Oh really? Interesting.

Maybe we are getting somewhere here then.

So, turbo 4Runner you say. I'll have to look into this further...

EDIT: O.k., all caught up. I hadn't seen your posts in this thread yet.

It looks very similar to the digital dash option they offered on the 84-88? pick-ups/4runners. It was a common option with the turbo trucks... don't know if it would fit the tabs might be different to say nothing of the sensor/wiring... only one way to find out though...
